OXYGEN: ENEMY OF CANCER

Tens of thousands of people have now overcome their various disorders through oxygen therapy of one form or another. A growing number of physicians throughout the world are offering oxygen treatments for patients with a wide variety of disorders from AIDS to viral hepatitis, circulatory problems, rheumatism, cancer and many other chronic degenerative conditions.

Ozone (O(3)) and hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2)) are some of the most energetic and useful agents known to science. The therapeutic action is due to the oxygenation of the blood by the loose molecule (free radical) of oxygen in these substances. This loose oxygen molecule is capable of oxidizing the waste products and facilitating their elimination.
With oxygen therapies, we aren't creating artificial chemical conditions in the body. We are just restoring the body's oxygen balance closer to the normal range. Even individuals in advanced stages of dis-repair have recovered by correcting their oxygen saturation when it started, before irreversible structural damage had set in.

Medical Use of Hydrogen Peroxide

If you've ever put peroxide on a wound, you have used oxygen therapy in its simplest form. The bubbling at the point of injury is the death by oxidation of germs and damaged cells. This is why the bubbling is so pronounced when there's infection in the wound, also why gargling or brushing teeth with peroxide produces considerable foam when many germs are present. Other methods of peroxide use, usually food grade, include bathing, taking very dilute oral doses and intravenous infusions.

Although hydrogen peroxide is readily available, it is recommended that where possible oxygen/ozone gas infusions be used instead to increase healing rates due to the higher oxidation potential in ozone. If it weren't for the FDA, many physicians in the US would rather use ozone instead of hydrogen peroxide infusions. Fortunately for Canada, ozone therapy can be administered by naturopathic physicians.

Medical Use of Ozone

Ozone is pure oxygen with a third atom, which splits off easily to oxidize germs. Its therapeutic capabilities are wide-ranging and well-documented. Since it can't be stored like hydrogen peroxide it has to be generated as needed.
In its natural gaseous form, ozone is an effective bleaching agent and a powerful disinfectant which can kill bacteria and fungi faster than chlorine. Viruses and cancerous cells, which are generally not affected by conventional chemicals used in water treatment, can be broken down readily by ozone.

The popular use of ozone with water bottlers has to do with its deodorant effect based on the destruction of substances and organisms producing noxious odors. The commercial application of ozone in the treatment of drinking water is over 70 years old. In fact, most European and several major US cities have been purifying water, sewage and toxic dump sites with ozone.

Fortunately, the use of ozone did not stay in the area of water treatments. Ozone can be used medically in a gas mixture along with oxygen for a variety of conditions due to its ability to increase metabolism and circulation, cholesterol, improve immunity, increase oxygen-binding capacity of red blood cells and its great antiseptic effect on various infectious organisms. Ozone application includes rectal insufflation, skin absorption through "body bagging" or through the use of steam cabinets. One of the best ways of incorporating ozone into the body is through direct injection into the blood supply. If one should consider this procedure, it is recommended that practitioners experienced in the proper protocols and licensed to perform injections be consulted. Also, due to the possible irritation to the lining of lungs, it is recommended that direct breathing of ozone be avoided.

Treating the Cause

Disease consists of either an invasion of the body by identifiable hostile micro-organisms, or some part or system of the body deteriorating apparently on its own, as with cancer. These conditions can occur only when the oxygen content of the affected fluids and tissues drops well below the optimum level required for healthy cell growth and activity and into the range where low-oxygen microbes or fermenting growths can exist.

Otto Warburg, the only man in history to receive three nominations and two Nobel Prizes for his research, stated that "...the prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen in normal body cells by a fermentation of sugar." (The Prime Cause and Prevention of Cancer, 1966)

Hence, it can easily be argued that if respiration is intact through the use of oxygen therapies , then cancer can be prevented and even reversed. Any cell deprived of 60 per cent or more of its oxygen supply will turn cancerous. Conversely, when healthy oxygen supply is restored, the cell resumes a normal metabolism.

Based on its selectivity to eradicate the cancer cells and toxins and improve overall function of healthy cells, it is not difficult to see why many choose this therapy over conventional methods of cancer treatment. It is hard to imagine how such a remarkable treatment modality can go unnoticed all this time. Oxygen therapy has appeared in various forms since the late 1800s, yet its adoption into the medical forefront tended to spread only until it started noticeably displacing conventional medical services and products.

The pharmaceutical industry is older than most people realize and as with many other businesses, drug manufacturers naturally have attempted to discourage any major threats to their markets. And oxygen therapies are the embodiment of a drug company owner's worst nightmare: people who use enough of it simply stop buying virtually every other pharmaceutical product. For example, pure ozone can purify blood supplies of HIV or hepatitis.
European doctors and respected American researchers have stated that ozone can eliminate HIV in humans, animals and blood supply without any side effects. One such study indicated that ozone treatment was 97 to 100 per cent effective in killing HIV. (Journal of the American Society of Hematology, Oct 1, 1992).

So why are blood banks and hospitals not utilizing this therapy for their advantage? Why are oxygen therapies not being widely accepted and made accessible to everyone? I leave the answers to you.
