Abstract:The article elaborates on the research conducted by scientists at the Louisiana State University regarding the negative impacts of cigarette smoke to the health of non-smokers in the U.S. Researchers found that seven people who develop lung cancer are those that does not smoke. The smoke emitted by cigarettes and tobacco are comparable to the widespread air pollutants in the environment. Scientists suggested to eat lots of fruits and vegetables to help curb lung cancer.
