Abstract:The article reports on the study conducted by a group of researchers from Japan and China which discovers that regular intake of isoflavones from soy has slowed bone resorption and increased bone formation. Researchers review the findings of nine previous studies and examine specific markers for bone loss and bone formation that showed up in blood of 432 participants. They have found out that taking up to 90 milligrams of isoflavones a day for 12 weeks is enough to boost bone health.
