Working up a good sweat--by playing tennis, chasing your toddler, going to aerobics, or even vigorously cleaning the house--helps keep ovarian cancer at bay.

When researchers from Australia's Curtin University of Technology reviewed the activity levels of 254 Chinese women with diagnosed ovarian cancer and 652 women without cancer, they found that only 26% of the cancer group reported engaging in "sweaty" activities once or twice a week, compared with 40% of the cancer-free group.
