Abstract:This article focuses on a study which revealed that consuming foods rich in flavonoids may decrease pancreatic cancer risk. Foods rich in flavonoids include apples, broccoli, onions and berries. These compounds play important roles in the prevention of and survival from cancer. An overview of the study population is given.
