Abstract:The article highlights the importance of enzyme therapy in any strategy for creating a healthy immune system with good nutritional support. Enzymes are crucial for proper digestion, without which the immune system is compromised. The author cites poor digestion and food allergies as the two primary causes of immune dysfunction. According to her, enzyme therapy can be very effective in helping the body deal with an overload of circulating immune complexes which arise when there are a lot of undigested food particles. Further, she gives two reasons for taking probiotics such as lactobacillus acidophilus to promote gut health.
