Abstract:The article focuses on the study on tai chi exercises conducted by researchers from the University of California of Los Angeles and San Diego and the San Diego Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. Published in the "Journal of the American Geriatrics Society," the study involves 112 healthy adults, half of which have participated in tai chi exercises. As both group's immune system were examined after nine weeks of exercise, it is revealed that tai chi exercises could boost their immune system.
