Abstract:The article presents answers to queries related to Alzheimer's disease. One of them explains the stages of the disease. Although Alzheimer's disease progresses differently in each individual, there are seven stages that appear to be common to the disease. There is often quite a lot of overlap between the stages, and a patient may exhibit symptoms of several stages simultaneously. The other question deals with the right time of shifting such a patient to the hospital. It depends more on the family's capacity, tolerance, health, competing obligations, values and preferences than it does on the disease's progression.
