Abstract:The article focuses on the type 2 diabetes. Such diabetes is the result of insulin not working properly and the insulin is the hormone that allows cells to take up glucose from the bloodstream so insulin lowers the blood sugar level. Insulin resistance develops primarily because of high intakes of refined carbohydrate and fat, aided and abetted by insufficient physical activity.
