Abstract:The article presents information related to hypoglycemia, an inability of the body to properly convert sugar in a normal fashion. Overproduction of insulin causes hypoglycemia. Some of the symptoms of the condition include nervousness, depression, headaches and digestive disturbances. A glucose tolerance test is done to diagnose hypoglycemia. By increasing the intake of complex carbohydrates one can reduce the risk of hypoglycemia. Fiber facilitates the movement of food through the intestines.
