Abstract:The article focuses on type 2 hypothyroidism. It occurs when the thyroid gland produces normal amounts of hormone, but the cells are unable to utilize the hormone properly. Because type 2 is misunderstood and misdiagnosed, its manifestations and treatment is discussed. It presents the discovery that the underlying cause of contributing factor to pain was low thyroid function.
