Abstract:The article reports on the results of the changed guidelines, by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), for optimal thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) rates in patients receiving thyroid replacement. The change made hypothyroid patients suffer from variety of hypothyroid symptoms because their dose of thyroid replacement is less desirable. The most common complaints of patients include fatigue, impaired concentration, and spontaneous weight loss, despite adequate exercise.
