Abstract:The article reports on the study addressing the role of lyme disease in the autism epidemic in the U.S. According to the author, chronic infectious diseases provide direct effect on the spread of infections which weaken and synthesize the immunological state of the body during infancy increases the susceptibility on the diseases. In addition, it also presents the definition of autism, lyme disease as well as the estimated number of affected Americans.
