Abstract:The article explains that medical research reveals sleep deprivation is a risk factor in hypertension or high blood pressure. Sleep inadequacy may cause structural and functional alterations in blood pressure and heart rate that can adversely affect cardiovascular system health. Scientists pointed out sleeping more than average did not provide health benefits.
