Kale is king, according to vegetable rankings compiled by the Center for Science in the Public Interest. Its list--based on each veggie's contribution to daily nutrient recommendations--categorized the produce into three tiers: Superstars. Not Exactly Chopped Liver, and Love 'em Anyway. Joining kale at the top were leafy greens, canned pumpkin, sweet potatoes (with skin), broccoli, carrots, and red bell peppers. See the full report at cspinet.org.
